COMPASSIONATE KIDS: FAMILY EVENING OF SERVICE

Compassionate Kids Family Afternoon of Service offers a unique opportunity for children and parents to volunteer together. Families donate money and assemble 1,500 Christmas Food Baskets that will be distributed to families in need during the Christmas Season.
A minimum donation of $25 is requested. Your donation will assist with funding our Compassionate Christmas Outreach. Click here to make a donation.
CHRISTMAS FOOD BASKETS
Volunteers will assist in packing nearly 10,000 Christmas Food Boxes

Volunteers will assist with distribution of food to families
Distribution Days, Saturday, December 21st (Times and locations vary)
Neighborhood Christian Centers will provide Christmas Food Baskets to 10,000 families in need. Each basket will be filled with enough food to feed a family of four for up to four days!

BALLARD YOUTH CHRISTMAS PARTY
Volunteers will help serve NCC program youth

The Ballard Youth Christmas Party provides a sit-down dinner, special gift, and fun entertainment for 300 of our youth (12 yrs. and up) as a reward for their participation in NCC programs throughout the year.
Service Opportunities:

Make a donation of $15 to help NCC give each child a gift.

CHRISTMAS TOY STORE
Volunteers will assist families in selecting toys for their children
When: Monday, December 23rd / 8am-12pm (shifts available) Location: 785 Jackson Avenue, Memphis, TN 38107
NCC collects new, unwrapped toys for ages 0-12 that will be given out to over 500 families in need through the Annual Christmas Toy Store. Toys will be collected through December 13th. Toys can be dropped off at the NCC center or call 901.881.6013 for large donations. Office hours are Mon-Fri 8am-5pm.

Collect new, unwrapped toys for ages 0-12 (value of $20-30). (Toy Drive Beginning the end of October)
Christmas Gift Sorting
Volunteers will assist in sorting gifts for designated families

ADOPT-A-FAMILY
Runs through Friday, December 13th
Help provide a special Christmas to families in need who participate in NCC’s year-round programs. This program pairs donors with a family. NCC provides a wish list of items the family has requested.
Service Opportunities:

Donors can shop for the family and then personally deliver the gifts to the family’s home

OR Donors can donate funds to NCC to support the purchase and delivery of items to a family
