Dear Friends and Neighbors,
The Neighborhood Christian Centers, Inc. has formulated our current process to safely continue to serve our neighbors in need, while monitoring the state of COVID-19 in Shelby County.
NCC’s mission and goal has always been to walk side-by-side with our neighbors in need, and we will continue to do this with the best health and safety protocols applied. We will continue to remain and serve in the places and spaces where our neighbors in need reside and offer aid and encouragement in this time of heightened uncertainty and stress.
We need your continued support as we continue to offer Christ-centered care to our Neighbors in Need.
Understanding that this is a fluid process, Neighborhood Christian Centers, Inc. has developed a list of practical operations that will apply to all site locations through March 30th:
Communication: NCC will continue to receive donations through land mail and our online donation portal. Thank you in advance for your support!
NCC will be communicating to neighbors in need, donors, and partners through our Website and Social Media channels, along with email and text communications.
To stay up-to-date with our current operations and processes, please follow us on Facebook and Instagram, and watch for emails.
Emergency Services: NCC will be administering emergency, nutritional aid to eligible families and individuals, utilizing the social distancing protocols at all of our site locations.
If you are in need, please click here to fill out our Eligibility Form. You will receive follow up communication by email or phone for additional instructions.
Group Activities: All NCC group activities (Adult and Youth Programs) will be suspended until March 30th.
Personal Space: While NCC is a very relational ministry, we will be operating within the social distancing protocols. Please note that Neighborhood Christian Centers, Inc. staff will be refraining from shaking hands and hugging during this time.
Disinfecting/Cleaning Policy: All Site Locations will undergo a thorough cleaning process to disinfect doorknobs/handles, restrooms, and public spaces.
We are so thankful for your support and we are keeping our city, as well as our entire world, lifted in prayer. For additional COVID-19 updates and information, please visit the CDC's website at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html As with all things, we trust in our Lord to govern and guide, Psalms 91.
On Behalf of the NCC Staff, Thank you!!
