Spring Jam
February 5th - March 9th (Times & Dates Vary)
Support your community by being a volunteer at our Spring Jam event!
Spring Jam is an annual event that offers under-resourced children a chance to experience a cultural “mock” vacation during Spring Break. This year’s destination is Chile. Over 1,000 children are introduced to different countries around the world each year. The event is scheduled to take place from March 7th to March 9th. Volunteers are needed for setup from February 5th to March 1st and for the actual event. What you’ll be doing:
Creating art and decorations using crafts supplies in various materials
Setting up and organizing stations
Decorating spaces with banners, signs and other visual elements
Assembling and organizing materials
Collaborating with volunteers and staff to problem-solve and trouble-shoot any setup issues
Man the event and be apart of the experience!
Supporting Youth Education: Read 21
(Mondays/ Wednesdays/Thursdays) 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM
Are you passionate about education and willing to devote at least one hour a week to helping the youth in our community? If so, we encourage you to choose NCC. Your support is crucial in shaping a brighter future for these students. You can make a positive impact on the lives of young students and help foster a love for reading and learning. Your assistance in guiding and motivating them can be a valuable contribution to their educational development.
What you’ll be doing:
Help students log on to their devices.
Monitor and Assist students in maintaining focus on their reading task.
Provide additional tutoring when needed.
Encourage and motivate students in their reading journey.
Troubleshoot any technical issues students may encounter.
Supporting Youth Education: BookNook
(Fridays) 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM
Support youth education through BookBook! Volunteers needed at 6 Site Locations. Join us in improving critical reading skills of youth through our online platforms. Make a difference today!

Jr./Sr. Truthseeksers Afterschool Bible Club

Senior Food Box Packing/Delivery

HomeBound Delivery Driver

This type of volunteer work requires the ability to operate and drive a vehicle to deliver and pick up materials. Must have the ability to walk short distances and be able to lift, exerting up to 50lbs of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
